So I was supposed to get my gc last Friday but because USPS did not update the lawyer’s office’s new address, the delivery was all messed up! I am so pissed because I was told by USPS and local office that they don’t know where the package is 😤. Tracking number says it’ll be redelivered but they did not. I also found out that they didn’t update the suite number that’s why they couldn’t deliver it to my lawyer’s office! The guy was like, it’ll be delivered back to the sender! Incompetence at it’s finest😤😤😤. I am so frustrated. I thought I could get the card this week and start working. Does anybody had this kind of experience?

I once went through same thing with my EAD. USPS sent me notification that package could not be delivered. However, as soon i got this notification i called USPS and the agent was very nice. he opened the ticket for me to redeliver the package. Therefore, i received the EAD after 10 days.

 

It was very messy situation. I can totally understand your position.

Thank you for responding. I called USPS and local post office plus USCIS. Unfortunately, USPS won’t do anything. It doesn’t help that the mail is not under my name. This happened before too with my EAD. It doesn’t make sense that all my other mails to my lawyer’s office were delivered without any issues.

I called them right away too but I was told that they Will redeliver the ff day and I just had to wait. So I called again the ff day and I was told address was wrong so it’ll be redelivered to sender. I just hate how incompetent the system is

Good day everyone, I’ve just submitted my vawa application and would like to get some more information. 
1. What do I do if my spouse withdraw form I-864  before the approval of my case.

 

2. My I-485 was placed in abeyance but now that I sent a letter for my I-485 to be reopened along side my Vawa application can I expect to get my EAD from my C09 application?

Thank you Sandra! I need to gain that confidence to be able to say it  be preparing for the interview

But I am scared it would cause more problems; Personally, would you recommend to bring a lawyer to the interview, or is it unnecessary?
