I am at a loss for words my husband and I have file our I 751 and received our 3rd rejection notice in the mail.  The second time we received the notice we saw exactly what we did and missed signing our signatures.  However we see stamps on each page with no errors like we did before.  Here is what we included:

I751 form

Pictures of our family together

Front Back of his permanent resident card

Copy of our tax returns 2019 and 2020

Copies of my passport and dates outside of the U.S.

Marriage License

Deed to our home

Bank cashiers check of $680

His expires on October 31st; we initially filed in August, September, and the again in September.  We are worried that if it gets rejected again he will not be able to drive because his license expires around the same date. What are we missing and how do we get a hold of someone from USCIS to see what we are doing wrong? The letters they send are exactly the same and brief.

Besides missing signatures, the rejection could be due to wrong fee or expired forms.

If you're sure there are no mistakes in the forms, you can send the same again.

In looking at the document they sent to us the date of birth they put on it was incorrect. Is there a way to talk to someone or can we go somewhere to get assistance?

As @K1visaHopeful advised, post an image of your rejection letter -concealing any personal information-.

Your form can also be rejected if it was sent to the wrong address or there is a missing page.

Thank you for your responses. It has been the same letter every time and nothing different. It states, "the payment amount is incorrect, or has not been provided. Please review the form instruction for fee information. Please resubmit..........to the address below.  All times we sent to the address and that is po box 21200 phoenix, az 85036.  Please be sure to complete the application fully, submit the appropriate fees, and include all required supporting documents. If you have questions please visit the the USCIS Contact Center. I am so nervous and now out of ideas of what to do. Please help and see attached.

It is there: the fee is incorrect.

You must pay $680, preferably with a personal check. On the “Pay to the Order of” line, write “U.S. Department of Homeland Security".

I would have thought that as well since it is the same wording every time. Yet, every time they placed our 1st check stapled on top, 2nd cashiers check stapled on top, and this third time stapled on top. Please see attached. When you see that it is stapled and stamped I believe you will be lost as well.  I even used ten different calculators thinking my calculations were off and I excelled in math. LOL

Couple of things that might be an issue:

  • Why is there a "U.S. Department of Homeland Security Citizenship and Immigration Services" stamped over the typed "U.S. Department of Homeland Security"?
  • Also, does it say on the right side under the amount:  "Void if over US $ 600"?

Can't open the file but I guess the stamp is actually from USCIS.

And is the legend "void" part of the check?

@etapia
File again using the same documents and form you already sent but this time with a personal check.

this is the second cashiers check we sent and Uscis stamped it a second time with this same stamp.  No it says void if over us $680.  I am wondering if we should just use a credit card this time because we did use a check the first time but same results.  I just wish we can talk to someone there so we can get a definitive answer. However, I will use the suggestions in these posts and post a letter stating please tell us what we are missing and we will provide a credit card document this go round.  This is so stressful seeing that you all are seeing that there is not much wrong either and we are getting so close to the expiration date that I fear that he won't be able to travel with me to my home in California or back to the Dominican for the holidays.  Why do they do this and just give generic answers?
