Medical Exam for interview in Warsaw can now be done in Moscow

I just found out that for Russian applicants who have had their case transferred to Warsaw, since Sept 8th you can get the medical examination done in Moscow.

This means you can get your exam done in Moscow well ahead of your interview so you don't have to travel to Warsaw a week early anymore to have the medical exam there.

What's that blurb about the Covid vaccine only being accepted if it's approved by the U.S or WHO? Sputnik is the only one most Russians can get. How are they expected to get a Western approved one?

May I ask how did you find the link? I tried to find the entry on the embassy website, but couldn't find it.

Following as well. Poland requires EU vaccines for entry, lest subject yourself to a 10 day quarantine. I know Belarusians have the 10-day wait, not sure if Russians are even permitted to enter. I don't know if a vaccine can be received in Poland for a non-resident, though they do have Janssen there. I expect Warsaw will need to give guidance on this.

I am on a Telegram group for K1/IR1/CR1 fiancés/husbands  and somebody posted the link in there. Because it’s a .gov address I do believe it is genuine.

If you enter Poland directly from outside the EU, like Russia, you do indeed have to quarantine upon arrival which would be a problem. But if you arrive from another Schengen country to Poland you do not have to quarantine so that is how everyone does it. Most fly to Greece first and then through to Poland: no quarantine required.
You can also show a negative Covid test (no more than 48h old) instead of vaccination record for Poland. And you need a Schengen visa of course.

You can find the information under family based immigration--->the interview-->click drop down for required documents and click "this link" under medical examinations.

There are four locations where you can do your medical exam for an interview in Warsaw: Moscow, Minsk, Warsaw, Krakow.

I can only speak for Krakow because that's where my wife did her medical. They took her blood and did the X-ray in the morning and she saw the doctor at 7 PM. He gave her the sealed envelope with the results right away at the end of the medical exam. So in theory if you do the medical in Krakow you could do it up to one day before the interview in Warsaw.

Perhaps others can tell you about the three other locations.

For Krakow, the blood test and X-ray could be paid by credit card at the front desk, but for the actual medical exam with the doctor at the end the day was 300 Polish zloty cash directly to the doctor. No credit card, no Euros or USD.
