we have to petitions one for husband -submitted on Aug 10th and DQ'ed Tuesday

for our son-submitted Aug 11th - got an RFE asking us to sign I864 by hand and reupload.  We did.  and uploaded date still shows August 10th so I am not sure if we have to wait another 3 months or a few days.  My lawyer says he should DQ in a few days.  I have hope since upload date did not change.

Do we get in line again, if we have to submit any documents after they review already submitted documents? I submitted all my documents (except police clearance) on july 4th. They sent message on July 19 saying we can't review your case until all documents are submitted - ofcourse missing one was police clearance. Once i got police clearance I submitted all of the documents again on AUGUST 12. Since then waiting to hear back.................so do we know which date of submission do they really look at?

It will be aug 12. My case is also the same. Submitted all my document on aug 5 but not PCC. I received their notice on aug 19 that they can’t review becoz it is missing PCC. I submitted my PCC on august 27. So last submission date is what they consider.

Here are my thoughts on it. If you submit, NVC reviews and sends it back for whatever reason, then you resubmit the missing/incorrect document(s),  you will go to the back of the line snd have to wait for up to 12 weeks from the date of the last submission.

If you submit documents on one date then submit additional documents later but BEFORE the NVC reviews your case, I think your first submission date will be your actual submission date.  This is what happened to me. I uploaded my initial documents on August 9th then I submitted additional (non-required) documents on October 25th. I was DQ’d on October 29th.

Just got off the phone with NVC. They said if you submit any document anytime, that is the last date we look at for your timeline. Now, we know at times we have seen weird things happen, one CSR says something and other says different, so I don't know what to take out from this call but hoping we all get approved fast.

She also added they are reviewing docs that were submitted on AUGUST 8th. Just basic information nothing other than that.

65 min wait for NVC call.

Hello any Oct Resubmission?

there's a few people here if you read through who have been given RFEs and are not October, there isn't a Oct NVC submission thread yet, mainly as there won't be much updates in it, the September thread is here:

as you can see it's relatively quiet, and will probably remain so until people from Sep start getting reviewed.
