Fot those of you who may be in transit what is the wait time for you guys? How long did it take/when did you inquire and got a response?

I think you should join the thread above since your NOA2 was in January. I think the remaining people are are still waiting for their NOA2 so most won't be able to help you.

Welp, I did it. I took the last steps of getting any movement on my case today.

First, I called USCIS, said "INFO PASS" and waited about 10 minutes for an agent. When I finally got someone they couldn't hear me. So I took my earbuds out and called again. Only this time the agent couldn't hear me. I made a phone call to my mother before USCIS and my best friend after and both could hear me just fine.

I swear.

Second, I was advised in our Whatsapp group to ask Emma for a LIVE CHAT through the USCIS website. The agent was no help and told me that because I submitted my 'outside of normal processing time' inquiry less than 30 days ago I cannot inquire again for 30 days. She also reminded me what USCIS has responded to the inquiry, telling me to wait the 45 days. I tried to plead with her to get a tier 2 agent or supervisor but no such luck.

Lastly, I emailed the ombudsman. If anyone needs to do that here is the link: https://www.dhs.gov/topic/cis-ombudsman/forms/7001#no-back

You fill out a form and submit attached documents pertaining to your case. Took me about an hour to get everything prepared, you can tell they want you to get frustrated and give up, just like any government agency. See it though. To the bitter end!

So that is it. I will keep you guys posted if I hear anything but I am done. I have to be. I am losing my damn mind over this more and more with each passing day.

Asking for all the thoughts and prayers!!! Thank you!!! 🙏❣️

Did you try to reach out your congressman? So many people got their approval or an answer. I’d suggest you to reach out your congressman too. If you didn’t yet

We're going on 105 days from Noa2 and they haven't received the case yet so we don't have a case number. So far we've done inquiries and contacting the senator, none of which seemed to help. 😕

So they gave you no update and just left you in limbo? Does your embassy maybe have a huge backlog or something?

Did you send an e-mail to nvcresearch@state.gov and ask your case with specific informations such your wac number and other personel informations ?

It's not the embassy, it's NVC. The last update was that they had the file but have not entered it yet. They said they're working on files a week before our NoA2...which is the same thing they said three weeks ago and also 3 weeks before that, so not helpful. :(

Yep, we do this periodically.

The other reason can be the embassy in  beneficiary 's country. Because if the embassy has a huge backlog or not enough staff , they will keep the file before entering the data on system.
