I 707 form

Hi Guys:

 

Me and my fiance are working on  I 485 right now. is the form I 797 for employment based situations? if apply to us how do I get it?

 Also,  what's the receipt number of the underlying petition?

You mean I-765? That’s for employment authorization. You fill it out and send it along with I-485 if your spouse wants to work while waiting for the green card.

Receipt number for I-129F fiancé petition.

no, I meant I 797, I think must be included with I 485

I-797 is not a form. It’s an approval notice (in your case I assume for the K1 petition). You include a copy of it with your I-485.

It's on i129f approval notice which is i797 itself.

That’s gonna cost $465 and several months wait.

 

You can try to include other evidence such as NOA1 (the first notice of receipt), scan of the K1 visa, NVC email notification of your file being transferred to the consulate, etc.

You have a picture of it somewhere? That would work. All you need is print the picture and include in your petition

That should work. Form I-485 says: "attach a copy of the Form I-797 receipt or approval notice"

Do you have the I-129F receipt notice? If so, send a copy of that.

I found the I 129 approval receipt!!  thanks guys for taking time to help me out, she came last month and we are getting married next week, the I 94 deadline is mid October 

I think we are covered..
