Is there any fee to pay for the visa after interiew at the consulate in case of CR1 spouse visa ?

It will be very helpful if someone can tell us if there is any fee to pay for the visa after interiew at the consulate in case of CR1 spouse visa ?

You will pay the $220 for the green card. They sent me a link after I received my passport back with my visa on it.

There is no fee to pay for the visa after interview, but there is a fee for the green card after the visa is issued.  This payment must be made directly to USCIS, not the consulate -- https://my.uscis.gov/uscis-immigrant-fee/

The $220 fee can be paid either before or after entering the US.  Most people pay the fee to USCIS before travel.  The Green Card will not be sent until both:

1. The fee has been paid

2.  The immigrant visa holder has entered the US.

Just a note that my informational packet after my interview explicitly told me to pay the $220 before travel.

It makes much more sense to pay before travel, I agree.  But paying before travel isn't required (although I would pay before).  Thanks.
