Here is an update on my Wifes ROC and N400.

Here ROC still states the same ole received but we just got back from Vietnam to check out her Scheduled N400 Letter since we got notification about it last week on the 18th and her N400 is scheduled for December 9th, 2022, at the Columbus, OH Field Office. I am just going to assume that they will be doing all of her interviews, and everything at once on this date.

I doubt her ROC will be changing now that she has an N400 Date scheduled. Now just gotta help her study these 100 questions over the next 6 weeks. lol

Congrats! That's two thus far from August 2021. When did you file your N400 and when did it's status change to 'actively reviewing'?

August 2021 ROC filer here, Texas service center. Filed N400 online on 08/01/2022. As of today, the ROC tracker reads : Fingerprints were taken.

N400 tracking reads actively reviewing. I personally don't care too much at this point. It'd just be a little helpful and put the mind at ease to be able to travel with a valid GC.

Don't worry about traveling with expired GC. As long as you have the extention letter there is no issues.

We traveled to Canada and the U.K. All they asked for was the GC and letter confirming the extention.

I have been notating everything on the timeline area as well as the timeline comments and detailing the times as best as possible.

If it helps, my wife and I re-entered the US through Seattle, WA and TSA had no issues with her expired GC since she had her extension papers. Hell, I you should have seen their faces when she explained she brought back 4 luggage of almost a years supply of ramen and pho with some frozen fish back from Vietnam. Yeah, I knew what was going to happen and she talked their ears off and just kept talking about the food the entire time... lol Safe to say her and her food made it through. roflmao.

The key is to have both the expired Green Card and the Extension Letter together along with passport.

Right on!

Feel free to dm me. I am currently trying to find and create a list of most common n400 questions asked for the Columbus (Ohio in General) and once my wife has her interview I will see if she can remember them and add them to my list I am making as well. So far, I have found very few people listing the questions they have recieved but there does seem to be some common ones overlapping.

I know a couple that filed in TX as well a day after I filed my wifes N400 online and they got their Interview scheduled 1 month faster than ours. They filed August 2022 and their appointment notification was in October? and their interview is now this month - November. I reckon anyone filing for the N400 should definitely start studying the questions.
