Thanks then :)

By any chance, do you know where i-130 and i-465 are usually processed?

Thank you so much!

I-130? Or I-131?  Are you adjusting from a B visa?

I-130 petitions are sent out to the processing centers based on workloads, so they will end up at California, Potomac, Texas, Nebraska etc.  Contrary to popular belief, it is in no way connected to where you reside.  Petitions are routinely transferred between centers as well.

I-131 Apps for travel documents I believe are processed also at the NBC.  My husband's was a combo card, and so they were processed concurrently at NBC.

I-485s are processed at the local field office (KFIO) assigned to your zip code.  You can find out yours on USCIS.gov.  You can also find the processing time for your LFO on that site.

EAD/AP processing times are pretty standardized, but LFO processing times vary widely.  My husband's took 14 months, which was typical for the Seattle LFO at that time.

Who said it was only processed at NBC? USCIS website suggests otherwise.

If you're adjusting your status and filed for the EAD based on that, then your EAD is processed at NBC

Some people file for EAD that is not part of any adjustment of status, those EADs could potentially be processed elsewhere (like Potomac Service Center for instance). But that doesn't apply to you if you filed based on adjustment of status, NBC is the service center you need to look at.

@Marion Defoyer, if you filed concurrently for AOS, then your I-30 & I-485 are processed at the National Benefits Center. They remain physically there until USCIS schedules your interview. Then, your local field office adjudicates them on or after your interview. If you want to check on your processing time, you would select the I-485 and then, select your field office.

Since you filed concurrently for AOS, then the National Benefits Center also processes your EAD/AP.. It would say that's typically what happens.

In my experience, the processing times on the website are pretty reliable if your case is straightforward.
