Looks like a little movement here in Alabama.

Checked status and EAD (I765), shows NEW CARD BEING PRODUCED.

Paperwork was submitted on April 30th.

Hopefully AOS will be coming soon.

My case changed to 'ready to schedule an interview' on Aug 18th, right after biometrics, it was dead silent since then, today it changed to 'request for additional evidence sent'.

I'm wondering what it could be, since everything seemed to be fine for 6 months.

I haven't submitted my medical with the initial application. I wonder what are the chances of the RFE asking for my medical and getting my interview waived?

So I contacted the congressman for our zip code to request an expedite but no luck because we don't meet the criteria, but they were pretty helpful, tbh.
I think the Hartford Field Office is what is taking so long. My case starts with MSC which is the National Benefits Center, and it seems that my case is waiting there until they hear the response from my Local Office about the interview.
I am going insane because I had a colleague that, 6 months ago, sent all their paperwork and just got their interview date!! Even before they receive their EAD. And here we are 11 months after and still no update.

So I googled it the congressman for my state. Once I had that info I went to their official website. And I think depending on your location if there more than two congressman for that state it is divided by zip code. I sent an email to their office, and the secretary, very helpful, reached out to me. She sent me a form to fill out and she reached out again when they had the information/response from USCIS.

It didn't help on anything but it was worth the try.
