SSN required for AOS/Green Card interview?

Practically speaking, an SSN (social security number) is required for an interview. It is hard to imagine how an adult US citizen living in the USA cannot have an SSN. Possible in theory but unlikely.

It is even less likely the immigration  process would get this far for you if your spouse did not have an SSN.

Now a Social Security Card is another matter. Your citizen spouse does not need a social security card for your AOS interview.

If you have an SSN, you will be asked for your social security card. At least, my wife was asked.

For your peace of mind, your spouse should visit this link today, https://www.ssa.gov/myaccount/replacement-card.html to apply for a replacement SS card.  Then print the receipt / screen shot that shows a replacement SS card was applied for, and bring it to the AOS interview (which according to your time line is tomorrow, March 26, 2021).
