I would very much doubt she could get a B-2 in Venezuela.  Is there even a US consulate there any more?

If travel ban doesn't apply for Venezuela and b1/b2 visa are being processed, she is allowed to apply despite being in a process of obtaining k1. Costs around 160 dollars to apply.

edit: didn't know that there is no consulate in Venezuela :sleepy:🥺

Check to see if Columbia is processing B visas, many Consulates have not restarted.

Since the 2019 closure of the Caracas embassy citizens and residents of Venezuela can apply for B-2, F-1, etc. "at any U.S. embassy or consulate in another country." https://ve.usembassy.gov/visas/ Bogota embassy tends to be commonly used by those applicants.

Hello.

When the US get back to allowing B2 Visa holders into the country, yes, she can visit.

However, if she needs a Visitor Visa, chances are they will deny her one since she is already a potential beneficiary for a K1 Visa.

I hope the information helps you.

Good luck.

Entering the US with B-2 wouldn't be an issue, per se. The issue would be getting the visa interview in the first place since many embassies/consulates haven't resumed routine processing of B-2 visas.

Exactly, entering the US with a B2 Visa is not an issue per se.

I myself came to the US twice with my B2 Visa while my  K1 Visa process was still in process.

The point here is succeed in getting a B2 Visa while your K1 is still pending. That’s the big hurdle to cross.
