I'm in the K1 process waiting for interview dates for Nairobi Kenya.

I was denied a visitors visa 2 years ago and I'm nervous because I answered something wrongfully. I was asked if I have relatives in the US to which I answered NO. Truth is I do have a sister in the US . How badly with this affect my K1 embassy interview and how can I fix it? Thanks

You can not fix it

Should not  be an issue you received no benefit

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

2 different processes. No impact.

Just don't lie on your K-1. I know a lot of Kenyans who do and when they get to US, they run into problems and then start the "cyber agent story."

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

I think you’ll be ok.

How long have you been waiting for an interview date? Asking for a friend whose petition was just approved. Thanks!
