The tree-frogs were screeching the entire night long,  man.

Didn't leave the casa except for Mini-B.'s skool runs, ensconced we man.

Lunch was the remaining Many ([2x2x2] +1) chicken tenders + Many ([2x2x2] +1) mini-tacos, ingest we man.

Din-din was bagged salad + Costco orange chicken, ingest with gusto Two Guys man.

 

We saw crows outside, so maybe some of the tree-frogs will meet their doom, good way to shut them up man.

Lunch was Many (2+2) codpieces... er, pieces of cod, ingest we man.

 

Went shopping for Uncle T-B., housebound senior he man.

Spent over $Many, good thing he didn't see receipt man.

 

Upgraded computer operating system, behind-the-times we man.

Jumped it Many (2+2) -- si man, Many (2+2) -- system levels, one giant leap for mankind man.

 

Din-din was onecan of Costco chunk chicken + 2 slices of wheat bread, ingest we man.

 

Ex-Mrs.-T-B. again returned Mini-B. later than agreed, grrrr man.

 

Mini-B. upset with two of his teechurs, upset wee man.

Teechurs yell all the time at other stoodents, yell they man.

Mini-B. too upset to learn, now hates previously favorite subjects wee man.

Unsure how to handle this, advice solicited man.

Dropped Mini-B. at skool and decided to mow lawn, in great need thereof man.

One side yard squishy with water, curious man.

Asked neighbor if they'd been irrigating their shrubbery, negatory man.

Leak, call plumber we man.

 

Plumber couldn't come till half-past Many, delay man.

We therefore went ES-ing, q.v. report above man.

 

Lunch was at our favorite Chinese buffet, cute little waitress always remembers us man.

Had only Many (2+1) plates, ingest we man.

 

Mini-B. highly upset after skool, nearly in tears wee man.

As always, he clammed up regarding the reasons, hold it in wee man.

Went straight upstairs to his room to cry in his bed, very rare occurrence man.

 

Enlisted ex-Mrs.-T-B. to phone him, call wee man ex-she man.

The items were, see man:

   1) He couldn't sit with his friends at lunch, someone took his seat man.

   2) One of the two teechurs yelled in class again, upset wee man man.

Many) He wanted to withdraw $Many from the bank to buy gaming equipment from an amigo, not resolved yet between us and ex-Mrs.-T-B. man.

 

We and ex-Mrs.-T-B. will split the purchase amount, mollify wee man we and ex-she man.

We and ex-Mrs.-T-B. will continue to monitor the yelling-teechur situation, snoop & spy man.

Ex-Mrs.-T-B. said something settling re lunch issue, distracted-by-plumber we man.

We gave Mini-B. a strawberry Pop-Tart, mollify wee man we man.

 

Plumber fixed leak (just a couple of below-ground pipe segments) for $Many00, egad man.

 

Din-din was the alternative sirloin burgers from Costco, regular type unavailable man.

These really aren't very good, waste of money man.

Neither of us finished our burgers, partially ingest Two Guys man.

Told Mini-B. that we would ditch these and go buy the regular type, mollified wee man.

 

Movie night was Many (2+1) episodes of The Mandalorian, not bad man.

Off-chance that we can finish Mini-B.'s excellent book, The Story of Crazy Horse, tomorrow night, hopeful we man.

Breakfasted with Mini-B. at Burger King*, ingest Two Guys man.

Gave Mini-B. to ex-Mrs.-T-B. for agreed-upon playdate, surrender wee man to ex-she man we man.

 

Ran some errands, not including GSs/ESs, done Friday man.

 

Movie night was episodes Many, Many, & Many of The Mandalorian, quite good man.

Many (2+2+2) bowls of Costco popcorn were consumed, ingest Two Guys man.

For the week, a new record of Many (2x2x2x2 +2+2) -- yes, Many (2x2x2x2 +2+2) -- popcorn bowls were established, never be surpassed man.

 

Almost finished Mini-B.'s Crazy Horse book, which we shall do during the day on Sunday, complete we and wee man.

Dropped Mini-B. with Mama T-B., overjoyed senior she man.

Lunch was Many (2+1) battered codpieces... er, pieces of battered cod, ingest we man.

 

Finished all laundry loads by 2 p.m., pleasant change from usual drag man.

Finished Mini-B.'s book in a special session, read we with wee man man.

 

Din-din was S+Ms for Mini-B., traditional ingestation for wee man man.

Din-din for us was toucans Chunky chicken soup, ingest we man.

 

Watched AFV with Mini-B., ex-Mrs.-T-B., & Cousin Mini-B., full casa man.

Said "so long" to Mini-B. for the week, bye wee man.

Went to Best Buy on Saturday morning to get monitor and keyboard for PRG; starts new job today 🙂 and didn't think she should have just a laptop screen. Had acquired desk and chair last weekend.

Didn't check what time they opened, not open until 11, got there at 10:45. Oops.

Went to TJ Maxx next door, PRG got some new shirts from the clearance rack, found some Peanuts-themed pajamas for mini-Dave for $10 (4Ts are a bit big, but silly to buy smaller now; fast-growing mini-Dave), and then returned to (now open) Best Buy.

Took a little while to find monitors (and a little bit after that to find a box with the one we wanted to get -- lower resolution and no integrated hub like mine, but less than half the price -- granted from five years ago, too; 27" IPS monitor from a major brand for $220) and regular, non-gaming keyboards and mice.

 

Sunday observed neighbor-girl's birthday (she's a few months younger than mini-Dave) at children's museum. Only had one cupcake, diet, man. But mini-Dave and neighbor girl had fun (at least when other kids didn't get in the way).

 

Realized when we got home that I hadn't set up flank steak I'd taken out for dinner to marinate, and other recipe I had for it needs to sous vide for 5 hours , so ended up having dinner a little bit late.

Turns out if I make Mongolian beef a little less spicy (cut out a clove of garlic and half the red pepper flakes) and keep the sauce on the side, it goes from "you can make this every once in a while but it's a little spicy" to "you should definitely make this the next time your parents come here" according to PRG.

Went to Costco for Many (2+1) items, under $Many spent man.

Lunch was a twin-pack of Costco's Egg Bites, ingest we man.

Din-din was the remaining Many (2+2) codpieces... er, pieces of cod, ingest we man.

 

Ex-Mrs.-T-B. called at 1 p.m. to say that she had picked up Mini-B., uh-oh man.

He had walked out of skool because a kid called him fat, and he can't stand his teechur who always yells at stoodents, oh brother man.

Ex-she man removed cell-phone privileges for a week, appropriate man.

We are to continue this during our week, appropriate man.

We have a caucus with the Many'th-grade counselor in the morning, supportive she man.

We need advice on how to keep Mini-B. from overreacting to stuff, solicit we man.

We & ex-Mrs.-T-B. met at skool counselor's office, caucus we and ex-she with she man.

Counselor is a fine and intelligent lady, super-she man.

Counselor knows one of the teechurs who yells in class and says that she's "firm," obviously man.

Counselor unfamiliar with other teechur who allegedly yells, experienced but new to the skool man.

After caucus, she caucused with Mini-B. before 2nd period, caucus wee man with she man.

Mini-B. apparently had a far better day, universal relief man.

We are positive about the situation, si man.

 

Lunch was onecan of Progresso chicken soup + 2 wheat-bread slices, ingest we man.

Din-din was sequentially an Everything bagel, an Aldi chocolate bar + almonds, and onecan of peas, ingest sequentialy we man.

 

Miu sat on our lap for entire local evening TV news, fluffy purring miu man.

 

Wild, uninhibited cavorting with the rubias begins imminently, party we man.

Spent Many-&-a-half -- yes, Many-&-a-half -- hours in doc's office waiting to be seen,  man.

 

Had Two Guys eve with Mini-B., Two Guys man.

Used brand-new Subway coupon (BOGO), ingest Two Guys man.

Read funny Baba-Mail stuff, laugh Two Guys man.

Watched 2 more episodes of The Mandalorian, watch Two Guys man.

During this last, Many (2+1) bowls of Costco popcorn met their doom, ingest Two Guys man.

 

Skool pictures are next week, and Mini-B. will be dragged to get his hairs cut beforehand, too bad wee man man.

Holiday weekend is just about here.  Had planned to be in the Keys resting, boating, and fishing BUT...

 

My wife's daughter and her husband and her two terrorist children, boys ages 3 and almost 5, are coming for the weekend. Ugh.  They wanted to come down to the Keys with us but after the last time they came down I said never again.  Dirty feet on the new dining room cushions, spilled food, etc, etc.  Better they come to the house where there are several acres of land to play on, pool, and not far from the beach.  It's the little ones third birthday this weekend so there will be a party.  I plan to drink heavily.

 

Poor kids were born in the US of a Russian mother and British father.  I wonder why they act like hellions?

Last night, miu basically stared as we threw her miu-toys, no chasing man.

We gave up and prepared for bed, up late we man.

As we doused the Edisons, miu came in, miuing needily, and dropped a feather-roller, a sign man.

We got up, threw it Many times, then went back to bed, up even later we man.

Miu then came in with another feather-roller, expectant miu man.

Process of above wearily repeated, must play with the children man.

In the morning, Many (2+1) feather-rollers were on our floor, incorrigible miu man.

 

Got our hairs cut* today, actually pleased with job we man.

     *WUOC, financially savvy we man

 

Breakfast/lunch/din-din was Many (2+2+1) plates at the Chinese buffet, ingest we man.

 

This eve, attended a "meet the teechur" event at Mini-B.'s skool, attend we man.

Parking was impossible, no guidance received man.

Ex-Mrs.-T-B. brought Mini-B., ex-she man bring wee man man.

Had ex-she not, we and ex-she would never have found all his classes, no man.

We nearly had some medical events climbing stairs all the time, pure torture man.

 

Gave ex-Mrs.-T-B. a coupon for Mini-B.'s long-overdue hairs-cut, ex-she had better follow through man.

We are sick of paying for all cut-hairings plus at least half of everything else, what is child support for man.
