Ha, we don't get them enough here in FL, land of the mosquito being our state's bird.

When I was a kid and we would all be outside playing, as soon as someone heard the truck coming they would yell "BUG TRUCK!" Everyone would run for cover until the truck and spray were gone.

LOL.  Seriously it isn't a thing in Seattle.  But we can also sit outside in the evenings without it being a bug fest.   My mom lives in Michigan (she was born and raised here though), and everyone there has these screened-in porches....a requirement for being outside!   I wouldn't enjoy that.

It's 95 degrees Fahrenheit in Memphis right now. I was going to add some moisture to my backyard compost pile... but the water that came out of the hose and into the bucket was actually steaming.

It's interesting, in a horrible kind of way.

So, coming from the Philippines, how does it suit you?

Not deprived!  80, with no/low dew point humidity!  And back down to 50 at night.  This is July and August.  Abject perfection.

But, we did actually install AC last year. Growing up in the 70s and 80s, no one even had  AC in their cars.  The rainy August Gin Rummy tournaments of my late 70s childhood are gone.
