2021 AOS from B2 visa marriage based, Baltimore ASC. 

 

01/04/2021: Sent packet via USPS

01/07/2021: Chicago Lockbox received the packet

01/13/2021: Received text messages for all forms (I-130, I-765, I-131, I-485) and CC charged for $1225.00 and $535.00

01/15/2021: Received all letters in the mail and used I-485 to get a drivers license at the MVA. (worked just fine)

01/30/2021: Received Biometrics appointment letter.

02/26/2021: Biometrics done and case was updated to "Show fingerprints were taken".

04/16/2021: Expedite request (Job Offer) & requested a tier 2 officer call back. Got email to send fax on the same day & faxed everything as well.

04/26/2021: Tier 2 officer called and confirmed they had received the fax.

04/27/2021: EAD and AP approved. New card is being produced. SAME DAY.

04/28/2021: Deficiency for I-693.

04/29/2021: Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview.

05/01/2021: EAD&AP (Combo card) on HAND!

05/03/2021: SSN card on hand!

08/18/2021: Interview approved. I-485 & I-130 approved. New card is being produced. Same day.

Total: 223 days.

It was a 20 min interview. Lady just asked stuff from the I-485 form. Confirm names, DOB, place of birth, current employer and current address. Finished with yes and no questions like the last part of the I-485 form ex. overstayed visa, criminal record, etc

Hey all

 

Had some updates on my mom's case. Today I got a message AED card was sent for production but does not say anything about the AP and the status for I-131 has not changed since case was received. Does that mean I need to call USCIS to ensure they also process or should I just expect to receive a combo card? 

 

Also interested to know if anyone went through an interview in Seattle, WA area? According to USCIS website they are still working on cases from early 2019 so I am a little worried we will move before the interview is actually scheduled.

Congrats !!! For my parents I-131 was approved when I-765 moved to "Case Approved" status, which should be in next couple days.

My timeline is very similar the pd is exactly same, Did bio on August 5, ready to schedule interview on August 7. Waiting for EAD. There is another app, lawfully where I am seeing people in early december are stating to get EAD approvals. Wait time is 256-261 days in average. I am hopeful for all of us.

EAD card is supposed to be delivered today. USPS tracking says it's out for delivery, then right after that it updates and says it delayed. But the delivery date still shows arriving today.

Hard to rely on USPS these days.

When date did your status changed to card is being produced? 
 

mine changed on Thursday last week to ‘card is being produced’ for EAD.

Thank you! I just got an update that both I-131 and I-765 got approved. Now just a long wait until the actual interview. With the AP can my mother travel overseas and return to the US without any problems? I heard that is treated just like another visa so I was unsure of how it works especially because at the moment tourists from my home country are still banned to enter US due to covid.

Got updates on my mom's case. Here is her timeline so far. Now just waiting for interview to be scheduledwhich probably will take a while.
