I don't think so. AP checks for very specific things (threats more or less), so if it was just standard service I would be surprized if it caused a delay.

Thanks 😊 that's a relief. Because I know in the ds-160 we filled out for his attempted tourist visa it asked about military training and asked if he learned special skills, we weren't sure how to fill that out

I'm not 100% sure about that one but since it says "specialized" I think they're alluding to skills/training beyond just the minimum that would be required in the 1 year of service.

I messaged the RU Embassy in Moscow president and she told me they are having issues getting visas for diplomats and that's causing hold.  It's not looking good..

I find that excuse of theirs interesting because this was posted months ago saying they resumed diplomatic visa processing

I'm getting so sick of this.  it's been about 1.5 years since we started the k1 process.....

Good catch! That was from an email the sent out to people on the mailing list. When I checked their website, it seems they do not mention diplomatic visas in the list.

Unfortunately they still aren't processing anything after 11 months. Only those doing spouse visas are able to transfer to Poland if they can get a visa to get there and interview. No good news for K1
