I am certainly no expert in this area, but I don't see how sending money, in itself, demonstrates a parent-child relationship.

It’s definitely one of the factors they look at. So are conversations, even if short. I think this plus dna is ok.

Thank you for your response. Of course, if I absolutely have to, I would get my DNA tested.
But, I think I read somewhere that we can't initiate the DNA process on our own without USCIS' or NVC asking us first.

Correct, you need a uscis case number to which the approved dna tester can use to send the results directly to uscis or the embassy.

what makes you think you can't do DNA on your own  and submit that as proof for the petition

u  would have to do this with drs approved by immigration but i think this is very do able

They won’t accept it for immigration purposes. It has to be sent directly to Uscis or the embassy from the lab. In order for it to be sent directly to Uscis they (the approved dna lab) require an RFE or other letter from Uscis and reference number on that RFE. Been there, done that.

I know. Which is why I'm providing some proofs that I can get my hands on.

Hi, so far the DNA test  is the strongest evidence for parent child relationship but you have to wait till the immigration office requested for DNA test between you and your father. They will send you a letter if they will ask one. And tell your father to use the ptc lab, little bit costly but fast and nice representative. I used their service in March 2021, thanks to them. My son is already here in the US. Goodluck.
