Cuomo Invited His Mother for Thanksgiving. New Yorkers Noticed.

ALBANY, N.Y. — For days, Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo has been preaching a message of sacrifice during the holidays, warning New Yorkers that Thanksgiving gatherings could be dangerous as virus cases spike across the nation, and beseeching them to reconsider their plans to help stem the rising tide.

So it was surprising when Mr. Cuomo announced on Monday afternoon that he had invited his 89-year-old mother, Matilda, and two of his daughters to celebrate a very Cuomo Thanksgiving with him this week in Albany.

The news of the family dinner came during a radio interview in an offhand answer to a question about the upcoming holiday.

“My mom is going to come up and two of my girls,” the governor said on WAMC, adding, “The plans change. But that’s my plan.”

It seems the leaders of CA and NY don’t early believe in the science.  I keep hearing stories of huge travel upticks this week, maybe they are using the examples of these leaders of science.

Another hypocrite. What works better than complaining is for people have to stop voting these clowns back into office. I thought this was related enough to post here instead of starting another topic.

   It's already a big story here in Denver. I mean everyone wants to be with family. It's the hight of hypocrisy for someone in leadership to repeatedly ask everyone else to make sacrifices and then not do so themsleves. Unfortunately we have been seeing it a lot.

    It's been the top story on the local news media websites. They were also talking/yelling about it on 850 KOA. I'm not sure if people are talking about it around town or anything.

   He is the guy who has been pushing the restrictions since May. He warned several times against Thanksgiving travel. He tweeted to avoid it as he was getting on the plane. The optics are terrible. He's lucky he's in his final term, because all the people who can't work and can't go to the gym and can't go to the restaurant to eat and all the other things we can't do, people are going to remember him for that and now for being a hypocrite about it.
