Hello,

I would really appreciate if immigrant visa applicants( ir cr1) who received interview letters in 2021 or waiting for interview in Abu Dhabi would share their DQ date. I am trying to have an idea of wait time. Mine is 21 may 2021.

Thank you

Hi!
Our case has been DQ since August 2020 (CR1 visa) and we are still waiting for an interview.

Yes

Is it normal to have this massive delay and backlog? I know they are behind due to c19 but over a year?

can anyone with data confirm if 13 months normal waiting time post covid era?

thanks

Yeah I know it sounds quite ridiculous, I never thought the delay would take this long.

Also, I think the only data they release is the amount of visas given for each month. Besides that they just like to tell us to wait 🤣

Does calling them on their landline would help? Inquire about estimated wait time? Anybody tried that?

No they simply ask to send a email and then forget about it.
