I sent a check..  🥺

i am panicking now...

Try not to worry - the worst thing that will happen is that they will send the packet back and you attach the correct payment - that might take two or three weeks.  With current processing times, all you really need to have in your hand is the letter confirming the (temporary) extension of your green card - and they seem to be taking two or three weeks to arrive once the application is accepted.  The it will be another long wait to get the ten year card (by which time some of us will have begun the naturalisation process).

The correct fee currently is $680 ($585+$85).

Hays.... I didn’t k ow it was suspended.. I already lost 3 weeks... if they are sending it back.. i just hope they just cash the check and just accept it!

That's the reason i ask here because i don't see the new implement fee in uscis website.

I have some friends who wants to argue with me about this but i do not trust other source of immigration process info. I only follow USCIS instructions!!

Got everything printed out. Tomorrow will just have to add content list and a new renters insurance. To be honest, the package feels so small, compared what I prepped for CR1 :D But I really don't know what else to add.

1.       Form G1145 E-Notification of Application/Petition Acceptance

2.       Payment in the amount of US $ 680.00 for form I-751 ($ 595.00) and Biometrics ($ 85.00)

3.       Form I-751

4.       Copies of the front and back of petitioner’s Permanent Resident Card

5.       Evidence of Bona fide Marriage

a.       2019 IRS Account Transcript, joint Federal and State tax return, W2

b.       2018 IRS Account Transcript, joint Federal and State tax return, W2

c.       Savings account statement Aug 26, 2020 through Sep 24, 2020

d.       Checking account statement Aug 15, 2020 through Sep 15, 2020

e.       Pictures of Spouse and Petitioner

f.        Flight bookings from trips together

g.       Current and past health insurances information

h.       Mail arrived to same address

i.         Copy of petitioner’s Colorado drivers licence

j.         Spouse’s 401k information

k.       Renters Insurance

Car,,dental, and life insurance can be added. It also mentioned in the instructions about affidavit sworn from 2 people

We're gathering the requirements right now and i mentioned to my husband about W-2 and he replied they didnt mentioned that to the instructions, You just want to see it lol😂😂 so i guess W2 is not a big of a deal😂

I'd definitely send more than one month worth of statements for the joint accounts.  Similarly, no reason to exclude your spouse's drivers license showing the same address.  If you can, I would show more "proof" that you do live together - sharing the address on your licenses and joint utility/phone/TV bills would be helpful if you have those.

Hi all,

My wife's green card expires in mid-January, and the filing window is about to open for us. We are putting our I-751 package together in the coming weeks. Has anyone noticed, on the I-751 form on USCIS' website, it says it expired on 12/31/2019? Does anyone know if there is a later version we should be referencing? This is the only form that's available at https://www.uscis.gov/i-751 - I'm a bit confused.

It is still good until they update it. Make sure its the same form the day you send your package off.
