I thought they were going to update today? Or they on Philippines time with the update?

The embassy will change course when Duterte changes course. He said Manila will have 30 more days of a quarantine lockdown. The embassy won't return to normal processing until Duterte lifts all these restrictions.

And of course, Christmas starts in September also. All months that end in "R".

It's actually the months that end in "ber". They are called the "ber months". At least that is what I was told when asking about why there was Christmas music being played in September

Last year in our house, the tree went up and was decorated on labor day weekend.   I'm sure something similar will happen again

The kids will take Glass Bottle Caps and stick about 5 of them on top of each other and put a nail thru it and place it on a piece of wood and they will make it about 3 rows.  They will make a homemade stick tambourine.

One year they were coming up to me in the droves singing "Jingle De Bells" "Jingle De Bells" while using the  tambourine as back ground music.  One of those things you never forget in the Philppines.
