Hello all, congratulations to all those approved over the last couple days. Friday night party for you all of you. Good luck Byron. I hope yours comes this weekend. My NOA2 came on a Sunday somehow. I still never received the Chris email.

You guys won't believe this, but the wait at NVC can be bad for some too. They have a designation called "Administrative Processing" or AP. It isn't the same as Administrative Review (AR), but it can be if they put a special code on it and it has to go to DC for further investigation of any "red flags." Thank God they say that isn't the case with mine, but this random check is sure causing delays to some. Some go in and out of there in 2 days. I have since learned that we have some VJers stuck at NVC over a year now. Needless to say I am learning a lot about NVC and the Department of State now that I am in this category (along with many others). Anyway, they will say that there is no set timeframe to be in AP. I spoke to a supervisor over there today and she said mine doesn't have any big issues and should be gone in a week or so more. Can't believe this after the long VSC wait! Good luck to you too, Mirla. I hope your RFE got there ok and gets seen and approved by an adjudicator ASAP.
