I spoke to my Schnitzel (thats what I call him) and he is as excited as I am. He can not sleep although he is on a business trip and must wake up early... we have a 6 hour difference. So excited... sipping red wine :)

:dance: Congratulatons to all VSC Approvals!!! I wish you all well and God's Blessing.

One of my favorite singers is Reba McEntire and her song: Forever Love is BEAUTIFUL.

To all of us who's waiting for our love one to join us:

Forever Love by Reba

The first time I laid my eyes on you I knew.

We'd spend this life side by side.

I still feel the same though you're so far away.

I swear that you'll always be my...

Forever love. I promise you.

Someday well be together.

Forever love. I wont give up. no matter what.

Ill be waiting for you. forever love.

Minutes and hours and years may go by.

But my heart knows nothing of time.

So don't cry, just keep me right there.

In your dreams. and hold on to these words of mine.

Forever love. I promise you.

Someday well be together.

Forever love. I wont give up. no matter what.

Ill be waiting for you. forever love.

Love is the road to our destiny.

Nothing can change what is meant to be.

:crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying: :crying:

Post the Dobbs email, I want to send him a message!

Yes, me to!

The email id is: loudobbstonight@cnn.com

Here is what I suggest for your letter, for maximum impact. Each para can be 2-3 sentences, and if we all use the same format we can increase our chances for some real action!

Para 1- Say something nice about Lou and how he cares about immigration and American values.

Para 2- Introduce yourself as a US Citizen

Para 3- Describe how uncertain the entire process is == from 6 months to 1 year.

Para 4- How Work visas are approved in less than 1 month and spouse of Work visa holders take 1 day.

Para 5- State why should an Ameircan wait for his spouse/fiance for upto 1 year, while a work visa person takes 1 day?

Para 6- Request a reply.

Keep the faith and spend more time contacting the media. Write 1 letter every day and spread the word :)

Enough of this waiting game! We want to be treated with respect, now.

Peace!

You are absolutely right! Man, weekends suck, but they are a good time to channel all that anger into writing letters to everyone and anyone who may be able to help change the worse US Government agency ever...putting work VISAs above us US citizens and our loved ones...it is immoral...freakin morons.

good luck everyone!

Thanks, but we need a miracle. Wow! You got your NOA2 in 1 month and 3 days??? Was it an expedite? Damn, USCIS executives should be fired for what they have allowed their centers to degrade to. If they were a civilian company, there would be heads rolling...

There are over 200 VSC filers from June 1 to now. Going at this pace (3 NOA2s this week) it will take about 66 weeks for you guys to all get your NOA2s. You better start writing your congressmen, senators, and the media now. Don't wait until you wasted 4 months or more to do so like so many have done. The system is not fair. The 6 months is not reasonable when added to all the other times for steps in the process to be apart from your loved one, as is the prioritization of work visas over K1/K3 visas and the fact that USCIS does not let you pay for and get 15-day premium processing like many other types of visas. Don't wait...do it for you and your loved one now. Do you want to wait 66 weeks? Take action to help ensure you don't have to. Good luck to you. I hope you don't have to wait the crazy times that many of us May (and some April) filers have had to wait or even longer considering how slow they are now.

Folks, Please get this 6 months time frame eliminated from your calculations. It is ONLY 1 part of the process. You have to ADD NVC processing + transit to embassy + waiting for interview. Its is at mimium 9-12 months.

Please write to everyone and post the Lou Dobbs email id & letter format on several other forums. We are US Citizens, we want equal rights as a Work Visa H1B holder.

US Citizens need EQUAL rights as H1B holders. Why should we wait for 8-12 months when a H1B visa holder gets his spouse in 1 day?

Equal Rights!

Processing time is different depending on countries. Some countries take super super long time until interview dates. Some couples have been waiting almost a year and other couples got visa within 6 months. It depends. Also processing time at USCIS varies. Each case is different. We are not marrying the same person. Everyone is different. So, just extending the estimate time does not apply to everyone.
