Child trafficking on common websites

A few days ago, I mentioned child trafficking going on with WayFair.  Slippers selling for $9,000.  A dresser for $12,000.  All with the names of children associated with them.  Many of those names the names of confirmed missing children.  Thought maybe it was a FB hoax thing being passed around.  Now I'm not so sure.

I gotta say, I never thought I'd see the day where you would make light of child trafficking and kidnapping.or money laundering.

    Shouldn't there be a link to an article or source? This is just a link to Amazon and an assertion about something posted somewhere.

Overall, nothing on the internet surprises me. 

 

At any rate, I'm a little confused on the connection here between the products and children, you might need to hold my hand a little and give me some direct references to missing children. I can't look at ten thousand dollar pillows. I can't even justify the cost of a MyPillow, which disappoints the wife as she constantly jokes about getting one.

 Not sure about my pillow, but a luxury pillow > $100 is so much better for sleep than those $9.99 department store pillows

Just woke up, so I missed all the Kanye hoopla (thankfully).

 

Criminals use sites such as WayFair and Amazon to allow people to buy illegitimate things.  The ads require targeted searching to reveal them.  Allegedly, some of the recent WayFair ads revolve around children's names being on the ad.  And key words in the ads mean different things as well.  I was skeptical, so talked to a police buddy of mine, and he said it's been going on for years.  Especially useful for money laundering, pedophilia, etc.

 

Just another way for bad people to do bad things, I guess, but it's new to me.  Perhaps I am just slow, as with Kanye?

My body tends not to care a whole lot, as I'm too asleep to care about the fabric. Now, I can't sleep in those ridiculously soft pillows that feels like I'm gonna sink into it and its gonna wrap around my face like a plastic bag. If the wife was snoring this pregnancy like the last, I might have preferred that actually (deafening/suffocating), but it's actually been a lot smoother for my sleep for what I hope is the last pregnancy. The sleep suffering really begins again next month, so who knows, maybe I'll join you on the luxury pillow thing. 😉

If that is the case, give HER the ridiculously soft pillow to use.  The deafening will happen, though... differently.

Hopefully you can get more detail, I'd like to see more specific references. Right now it just seems weirdly vague, but it might be more obvious to others, I just might not be in the know.
