Is traveling possible?

Hi guys

 

Quick question

Can I travel to the USA while my process is running?

Husband is in the USA (citizen) and I'm in London. 

Our I-130 hasn't been submitted yet, but when we do it's going to be the consular  option. 

I have a B1-B2 visa, I don't intend to stay, just to visit him every month or every other month.

 

Is that possible? Is it problematic?

It’s possible. Very much so. The issue currently is finding a flight that is operating. You will have to quarantine in the UK when you return for 14 days. You can’t even go out to work in that time. Might not be an issue if you can work from home.

Yeah I am aware that I'll have to quarantine for 14 days in the USA and another 14 days on my return...

 

I was more concerned on the officers not allowing my entry cuz I'll  be having a running I-130....

I visited multiple times whilst waiting for my I-130 to be approved. No issue at all.

Hi, 

i just flew over all the answers here.

but i just recently read in a facebook group that you would need sufficient proof of ties to the UK like job or paying rent etc and maybe your marriage certificate And you should be good to go.

that person had absolutely no problem in crossing the border when landed in the US 😊
