I-129F mailed on 07/18/2020 to Dallas lock box.  Check cashed and WAC # received on 07/29/2020 via text.  Marked timeline for NOA1 on the date text was received.

Cheers, All!!

When you get your hardcopy of the NOA1 there will be a NOA1 received date which is normally what we ask that you use on your timeline. Good luck and stay engaged.

There is a service provided by the USPS (US Postal Service) whereby each morning USPS will scan your incoming mail (just the address side of the envelope) and email you an update. It's very convenient these days to have advance notice that an important piece of mail is being delivered.

The service is available to most communities but some are still being rolled out so not all areas are available. Check the website with your zip code to verify your location is available for the service. A person in the USA can sign up for this free service here:

https://informeddelivery.usps.com/box/pages/intro/start.action

You can also use the USPS Mobile app available in the Google play store.

I have this! That's how I knew my NOA1 was coming. I love it

I noticed the emails with the approval estimate keep getting later and later.  Is it just going by average ppl are updating their timeline on when they get approved I am assuming?  That email feature wasn't here when I last filed so I'm just guessing.

The email is based on VJ timelines and those are only as good as the information being submitted. We know many do not update when a major action has taken place on their record. I wouldn't put any weight on those results. Just keep your ear to the tracks and you will hear your train coming before any timeline information from VJ. Just my experience talking.

Always thought the NOA1 was the Notice Date?  Nobody has corrected me.  So the NOA1 is when they received it.  I will take note of that.  Sorry

Timeline Updated...  😄

Perhaps VJ should update the help finding your NOA date link next to the timeline entry when editing timelines.  That instruction tells people to use the notice date.

that's what always confused me.  That's where I saw it and until today, I thought that was accurate.  Learn something new everyday 😉
