I thought the situation is completely different. Someone here even shared a link that people on AP are protected and denying an entry to someone with AP has no legal grounds. This is what I have read. So how come a person who has I485 pending and/or I360 pending is in removal proceedings ? I thought is is fully legal and good status ? I mean you are basically waiting in line and have done nothing wrong ? What is the point to deny you entry if you are basically supporting businesses and economy by traveling, so I see only good things for the US overall by you traveling. Or you are saying CBP officer may grant you a removal proceedings notice at the point of entry ? But based on what ? Your case is pending, you are in a legal status. I don't see any reasons for that to be happening unless you are trying to fly in with full bag of drugs or something like that.

Smart thing to do if you’re in removal you should file only 360 , after the approval of 360 you could go to judge and have your removal terminated  .and after that you file i485 so you could travel. That’s how uscis may trick you by giving you AP so they can get hold of you at airport .

Hi hun...my Vawa was approved June 2019 and i485 transffered the same time...1 year after  I am still waiting for an interview...

Hi. Hope you are doing well. I wanted to share this with you.

If it’s outside the case processing time, you might be able to submit a case inquiry.

I’m hoping that everyone that submitted something in 2017 or earlier gets an update and the case goes to the next level.  I read that they starting on June 4th, certain USCIS field office are going to resume their functions and they will start to do interviews. So, let’s hope and pray for good news.

Stay healthy & safe, folks. It’s a very challenging time for many people. Take care.

Hi All !
Hope you all are doing well and staying safe.
I am waiting for my i-485 interview.
VAWA and i-485 filed together in december 2017,
Vawa approved December 2019(By God's grace ).
This forum has been really helpful.@stillwinning and @sandraj are a great blessing to this forum.
Recently i have been reading of i-485 approvals without interview but couldn't keep a track.
Can you guys reply to this post
whoever got it without interviews so we can keep the count please .
Thanks in Advance warriors !

I have pretty much the same timeline. Every single no interview approval in the past few months has been for people who files I485 AFTER having their VAWA approved :(

When you receive a courtesy letter about medicals, does it mean your case is at local office? And does  it mean that interview is going to happen soon?
My Vawa was approved in March, but no online updates about case being transferred to my local office, I have contacted my congressperson but no news from them either..

So does it mean the case was reviewed and was transferred or about to be transferred to the local office? If yes what is approximate time for the next step? I know it's hard to predict but I can't wait to have it done lol

Once you receive your courtesy letter it can take anywhere from 1 month to infinity to transfer to local office lol. Better check with congressman after a few months.

oh really ? why is that ? what is the explanation for this ?

I think you misunderstood the way Sandra worded her response. She meant you are safe to travel with AP unless you are in removal proceedings or have pending asylum case.

Hi @namastenyc hoping you are doing well and keeping safe ..

I have contacted my congressman last week to inquire about my case especially my EAD C31 which expired in June 2020... I have  applied for the extension but have not gotten it has yet..and HR is squeezing me so hard for it. 😸😸.I think within a week I will be out of a job....Lord have mercy (🙌🙏👏)but

I do hope I hear  something real soon...my case is at my local office in  Hartford Ct...I am holding on to faith ..with God Grace and mercy to carry me through..I started my Vawa Journey Oct 2017 and believe me I can't wait for it to be over. ..

For each and everyone who have gotten their  approvals and for those waiting I pray for us all that one day we will be able to  celebrate with @sandra and @Stillwinning!!!😊 in NY after this Covid19 Pandemic

May God continue to surround us with his everlasting Grace has we exercise patience ❤❤❤
