Zolanden, I didn't see any activity yesterday. I just came to work and opened my mail and there was an email from Cris about approval. About half hour later I got one saying my I130 is also approved. The email said they both are approved on Aug 23. I think it has something to do with their system updating over night. Because once I called them on August 8th because I was worried. And that touched showed up as August 9th.

My NOA1 is April 6. Not April 9. I rechecked now to make sure. Zolanden, Don't get scared. we both are in the same date, you should see your approval today or Monday. I am positive.

They are cranking them out. Keep up your hopes. if you don't get an approval by Monday. I will also contact your congressman for you. Just stay positive you will get your approval.

Wish thank you and sorry for the whining please!

And CONGRATS once again!!!

Zolanden, your approval is very near so hang in there! We are all pulling for you! For your peace of mind though I would recommend calling CSC through the "RFE trick" and ask them about your case. This will let you know that it is not lost and you may even find out whether or not your forms are already with an officer. Just be aware that if you do this, you will probably see some touches on your case for a couple days. But honestly, your approvals are coming so be strong!

Thanks Lvivlovers!!

I we use the RFE trick, what should we ask,to get some normal info from them??

"This will let you know that it is not lost and you may even find out whether or not your forms are already with an officer. "--------that is what I want to know ,but when my husband called in (2 times) he got only the same old BS,six mos-thing.

Zolanden, try to call them through RFE line and ask them if your cases are assigned to officer. They have to tell you and if yes - when cases are assigned. Normally once the cases are assigned to officer they will be approved within a week. This is tested by us.

Wish you luck

It is our 6 month anniversary today and I checked the site this morning. The spousal petition touch yesterday has now become an approval and the fiance petition was approved yesterday as well.

I was amazed as they had not even touched the spousal since April and the fiance since June.

Now I guess it is hurry up and wait until NVC gets them eh?

It is happening people! We will all be approved soon! Keep the faith. Each person approved means more are being approved....it WILL happen and SOON!

I am sending my prayers for all of you.

Yes...this is correct. When we called we were freaking out with the wait. I told the person that I talked to that I was worried may we had an RFE because it had been a very long time and we hadn't heard anything. She looked up our case and said it was still just pending. So then I tried to do some fishing and asked her if she could give us any idea what forms they were really processing and that I understood that on the website usually they showed more the worst case scenario. Luckily she was nice and said just a second and looked something up on the computer. She then said...Oh! It looks like your case is already being processed. I said WHAT?!? What does that mean?! And she said the system showed our case was already with an officer and should be approved within 30 days. I had her also check my other form and she said it also showed the same. Within a week both were approved.

Best of luck, Zol! I know you've been going through the same thing we have, so I hope maybe this can help you at least not worry that your forms are lost. If your forms are not already with an officer they will be soon. Things are finally moving along.

I am a May/June filer myself but regularly visit this thread... most of my VJ time is spent here in this thread so we are here to give u company and anyone else still waiting.
