Approved! Finally.....wow... I am in India right now and I was traveling to see my wife on the 16th in Lucknow. I didn't get a chance to login and check my internet until today. Well, I checked my email 30 mins back and we were approved on the 15th. They are sending a notice in the mail...now how much longer before we get the I129 approved... Just wanted to come on here and update you guys also. So excited...

Awesome! It even makes it more special because you are with your spouse!! I hope when I leave at the end of month our approval will come when I am with my spouse. Congratulations!

My Honey, are you in Peru right now? Were you there during the earthquake? My wife lives in Lince in Lima...she said it really shook Lima pretty good but no real damage to her apartment building. We're trying to find a church to send money down to...got any ideas?

Yes, the next best thing to being approved is to see others approved, cause that means we are getting closer.

Will and I are lucky because I am in BC and he is in Washington State so we can see each other at least every other weekend....sometimes longer, sometimes shorter, but we are definitely blessed. My heart goes out to those who cannot see each other or see each other often.

Congrats to those with touches and approvals! Have a great weekend and let's all count our blessings that we have found someone to love who loves us back!

I leave in 12 days for Lima Peru. When I get there I want to travel around Lima to look at the damage. I feel very sorry for these people! I will also donate blood to them; when I''m there.

My husband lives in Lima and he experienced this horrible earthquake! He told me is was very strong and lasted alot longer than the 2 minutes as the people spoke in the news. Plus the other 11 tremors afterwards were pretty strong! Thank God my family was not hurt! You can send a moneygram to Lima Peru. I had sent money to my husband yesterday and we had no problems. I am counting the days to be with my husband. Also, I know I will have to return for the interview but, nothing would stop me from the interview to bring my family home to the States.

It's awesome to see all these approvals. congratulations JasS and Jade2004. Very happy for you guys I am leaving to India end of this month. I am hoping we will get our approval before I leave so when I am there I can get the paper work done faster and get an interview date sooner by avoiding the mail and filing the paper work directly since I will have access to the US embassy.

But until I get the approval, its all a pipe dream. Atleast I getto see my wife after 6 months, as happy as I am, I am really trying not to think about the day when I have to come back again with out her while she waits for her approval. I keep telling myself and her that we should be happy about the days we get together and not think about the day when we have to part again but it still keeps popping up in the back of the head. The only Solace is, God willing this time our parting won't be as long as the past one since if CSC continues to approve at this pace, I might be able to bring her here by atleast end of October.

I know the feeling! I also will be with my husband in 12 days and leaving them behind is like someone ripping out your heart! You are counting the minutes down until you can finally be with them but, time moves so fast when your together. Hopefully CSC continues to bring on the approvals and this will make your visit even more special with your wife. This is what I'm hoping for with my husband! The process has to end sometime! Enjoy your visit!
