Hello everyone I am here an USA and I filed I-130 marriage based patition.i need police certificate from uae and India how can I apply online. I  used to work UAE four years ago and for completing D-260 I  need police certificate. Please help me.

India would be fairly easy.  Just have the person to log on to passportindia.gov.in and schedule an appointment and request for immigration police certificate.   These days, the process is extremely efficient and ask them to carry couple of more ID proof, beside Passport and they'd do the needful and shall provide you the police certificate, in 45 minutes or so.

If you are currently in USA, you need to contact Indian Mission close to you. UAE will be tricky. I have seen few people try and get UAE PCC but they are all consular processing people in Mumbai. Indian and UAE PCC will take sometime to get processed.

I think OP is currently in USA. 

and I believe passportindia.gov.in is for domestic use only in India (PSK locations in India). 

Also your comment "shall provide you the police certificate, in 45 minutes or so." not true.

While it may be true for you. But they have few guideline which determines if you can get PCC on spot or need Physical Police Verification. If you do need that. It may take upto 10 days to get PCC in India.

And there are many people who are US citizens, may be they can help you with India PCC, if you are looking to get it from Indian Mission in USA

As we know , passport can be made in all PSK and POPSK in various cities/ towns in India . But POPSKs (in Post Offices) working mostly in small towns are providing only Passport services and not PCC services, in Uttar Pradesh . As per the website , for PCC one has to go to the Regional Passport Office in another city. Has anyone got the PCC from any POPSK in UP recently ? Thanks

PCC is done through RPO only. No other office has authorization and those offices are where you apply for passport only and they are mostly contracted.

It is surprising that when POPSKs can make a new passport which involves Police Verification , why for PCC one has to go to RPO only in another city . Thanks .

They don't make a passport. They only process the application. The actual passport gets printed RPO. That's why it has stamp and Regional passport officer's signature. Several districts come under same RPO.p

I agree that POPSK only process the papers and Passport comes from RPO . The same way the papers can be submitted to and processed by POPSK and then the PCC can come from proper department by email or by Regd. Post , as passport is delivered . This will get rid of un-necessary running around . Any way , we have to accept it as it is . Thanks.
