Hi IR1 visa interview date : December 28 location : Abudhabi/UAE I attended my interview and after the interview the CO asked me to upload all the documents that required in the interview again in CEAC website because they’re not shown in their system and he said that my case will be in administrative processing, since that time I got nothing about my case . Did any of you experienced such a thing in the US embassy of Abudhabi ? Any idea how long time they take usually? thanks -
Hello! I am a USC, my wife and I came to Dubai back in February to search for employment. We were living off of savings for about 1.5-2 months until I got my current job in April and I applied for my wife to get a spouse visa so that we could stay together whilst she continues job hunting. We have been here for about 3 months now and I just recently got a great job offer back in the states with a nice salary that would start in August. The only problem is that if I take this job my wife would lose her visa here and would have to go back to her home country so after doing a bit of research I found out about direct consular filing under exceptional circumstances as a way to bring her back to the states with me since I have a job offer with a short notice. However, I learned that at least 6 months of residency is a requirement for the consulate to accept an application for DCF. Is 3 months considered “short notice”? Also, since my wife and I were in Dubai for a few months prior to us getting residency and my job doesn’t start for another 3 months I would technically have over 6 months of residency before having to leave the country would that be acceptable? Do we qualify for DCF? thanks! -
This question has probably been answered but I am having difficulty searching for a direct confirmation. Others are asking and others are saying it is not needed since in the reciprocity "table" it says one needs to be present physically in the UAE to get one and it is recommended that the Consul waives the requirement. However there are those who say (mainly in YT) that it is needed and there is a way to get it even if you are outside UAE. I know the process but I would like a direct confirmation from someone who has been interviewed in Manila and was asked to provide one. Thanks and apologies in advance if this topic has been answered before. -
Hello, I live outside the UAE but have a UAE residency permit. Can I move my ir1/cr1 case to UAE embassy for sooner interview, what documents does the embassy require in addition to the residency permit? Thank you.

My fiance and I applied for a k-1 visa in 2020 while living in UAE - I was not in the military at that time. In 2020 I lost my job due to covid so my income for 2020 only shows 8,000$. In 2021 I joined the USAF and im now active duty in tech school. My salary up to this point is only around 9,000$ on my LES. I had a job prior to this which from that would be around 7,000 so combined I’m around 15,000 (give or take) for 2021 so far. My question is: DO YOU THINK ILL NEED A JOINT SPONSOR GIVEN MY INCOME LAST YEAR WAS ONLY 7,000 however this current year I’m now Active Duty - please any help would be helpful. Our embassy interview in Abu Dhabi is coming up mid September. -

my working visa will expire on May 28. by that time i will receive the NoA2 base on vj timeline. from the time i received the noa2 to interview would be 2-3 months. do i need to renew my visa? can i schedule interview with expire visa change to tourist? im working here in uae in 10years with the se company.. can i send the uscis an expedite letter. please help! -
