Yes citizenship. My case is outside of normal processing times, but was approved to be expedited back in February. Trying to see if anyone has received any kind of interview invites at all

I don’t anticipate any interviews to be scheduled until offices are actually open again. Remember the re-opening was first scheduled for May, and then postponed to June. There’s no guarantee that it will actually happen and some states are just not ready for it

Why wouldnt they be open if the restautants are opening, malls, gyms, parks, beach, pools why wouldnt Imigration be open?

If they are already scheduling Oath ceremonys for first week of June 2020 why wouldnt they scheduled interviews???

Oath ceremonies mostly are not held at USCIS offices and therefore can take place in locations that allow for social distancing. Oath ceremonies have been held since mid May already in selected places, the June deadline for USCIS offices is different from that.

All the things you mention as comparison are locations that you visit voluntarily, allow for social distancing, and don’t require multiple people (security, initial processing, interview, writing test...) to physically interact with you. You’re comparing apples to oranges.

I wish that USCIS offices and Embassies can open soon just as much as everyone else. But the people’s health is more important than our case.

Each state different but as Federal Agency, USCIS treats all states the same and keep the doors closed even though some states in my opinion are/ can be opened with safety measures. USCIS acting like as if they are not already backlog with hundreds of thousands cases behind that will only make everything even slower than it already is. I, personally only concerned that i won`t be able to vote by November.

I'm surprised that Trump hasn't ordered USCIS offices to open already. Seems like they could be rescheduling appts that were canceled.

We’re preparing to resume public services at individual offices on or after June 4, following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s guidelines to protect our workforce and the public. When we reopen to the public, all offices will have safety and health precautions in place to protect our workforce and those visiting our offices. If you’re feeling sick, please don’t come into the office. Follow the instructions on your appointment notice and reschedule without penalty for a time when you’re healthy.
