Flying in from Hong Kong with K-1 visa

My fiancé is flying to LAX from Hong Kong this coming Tuesday, 4/14. She got an email from the airline about required documents for entry, and K-1 visa wasn’t mentioned at all. Is K-1 visa considered essential travel? Will she be able to enter? Thank you in advance.

There are several threats here asking this question and I think that all ended with the conclusion that a K1 isn't essential travel. Also a fiance is not a immediate family member so you should better talk to the airline again

Thank you. However my fiancé had the interview when the outbreak first started, she heard couple people asking the consulate if they’d be able to enter the States. Consulate stated “if we issue the visa to you, you’ll be able to enter.”

Well unfortunately the consulate isn't the keeper of the border.  If true, then all the people holding valid b2 visas would be coming and going as they please.

YMMV

My friend asked her customs friend, and he said my fiancé should be able to enter the US with her Hong Kong passport with no problem. Told me not to worry... *fingers crossed*

So my fiancé arrived with no problem! When she was checking in at HKG, airlines counter checked her visa and said it’s ok. When she got to the US customs upon arrival, the officer was very nice and polite but looked like he was trying to minimize the time talking to her. He even forgot to get her entry packet, which he ended up taking after my fiancé asked him. Lol

Anyway, she’s finally here and I’m grateful.
