....

But Biden’s most impressive wins came in Massachusetts and Minnesota, where Sanders entered Super Tuesday as a slight favorite — and Biden wasn’t even the most likely candidate to upset him. Per our forecast, Biden had only a 1 in 5 chance of carrying each state, and yet he won Massachusetts by 7 points and Minnesota by a daunting 9. Both wins showed Biden’s ability to expand his coalition outside his usual comfort zone. Minnesota is a state that has relatively few voters of color (a key part of Biden’s base) and that Sanders won by 23 points in 2016. But the last-minute endorsement of Minnesota Sen. Amy Klobuchar, who dropped out of the race to support Biden, was apparently very influential. And in Massachusetts, Biden effectively kneecapped home-state Sen. Elizabeth Warren by usurping her former base of college-educated whites; Biden carried the upper-class suburbs that ring Boston.

I don't know how much of a factor that is.  I haven't seen news on that myself.  The President has said " nice things" about dictators and it didn't seem to affect him.

I bet it will bad  in Florida for Bernie either primary or general.

More telling is that young people stayed in the sidelines, and that was Bernie's strongest group.

I think this is Biden's  convention to loose.  Better fire up the Hunter Biden investigations!

Surprising wins for an old man showing signs of dementia.

Even if you don't agree about the dementia, you have to admit he's not that sharp now.  Not good for a guy that wants to be President.

I’m not the least bit surprised she didn’t win here. I still can’t believe people here voted for her over Scott Brown. Glad she’s out. She’s a Second Amendment hater.

Trump's mental state — not Biden's — is the real concern, mental health professionals say

David Knowles
Yahoo NewsMarch 5, 2020, 2:36 PM PST

Mental health professionals who have expressed concern over what they see as Donald Trump’s declining faculties say that similar fears about Joe Biden’s are overblown.

“A few stumbled words are not the same as the extreme danger that result from a list of signs that Donald Trump has shown,” Bandy Lee, a psychiatrist on the faculty at the Yale School of Medicine, told Yahoo News, “and none of them apply to Joe Biden.”

Lee edited a collection of essays written by 27 mental health professionals titled “The Dangerous Case of Donald Trump,” which detailed what the authors see as the risks posed by a leader who they regard as mentally and emotionally unfit for the most powerful office in the world.

Explain to me why when it is supposedly so important the Dems do not nominate somebody reasonable who would probably walk it, what is it with the guy with dementia and a lot of baggage.

And you know he has dementia how?

Not a medical diagnosis, but having watched him on TV there is something not right. There gets to be a point in life when it is time to call it quits, even more so in this situation.

There is a minimim age, surely there should be a maximum?
