New Law Would Allow Millennials To Stay On Their Parents' Netflix Account Until They're 35

WASHINGTON, D.C.—A new bill proposed in Congress would allow millennials to stay on their parents' Netflix account until they turn 35.
 

 

The law would force parents to keep their kids on their Netflix accounts much longer. While traditionally, children have broken away from their parents and gotten their own Netflix accounts when they turn 18, this generation has stayed on their parents' Netflix accounts longer and longer.

"Every millennial deserves universal Netflix coverage," said one sponsor of the bill. "Netflix is a human right, after all."

Thankfully we have a sense of humor and were able to tell it was satire without checking the source. The source is simply icing on the cake.

You could say that about any entity that specializes with political satire.  SNL is a joke, The Onion is not much better than the Bee.  Actually, the best political satire comes from the mainstream media.

  I think the political satire sites are often focusing too hard on the politics, and sometimes neglecting the satire. The best satire focuses on the absurd and lets people work it out for themselves. Political sites lose the subtlety because they are trying to spoon feed people. It's why it sometimes just looks like fake news rather than satire.
