I haven't even received a biometric appointment yet since I filed last Saturday. So I believe they are closed but you could phone up to check first. I'm pretty sure if they were closed they would leave an automated message saying so?

Not all offices are closed. Currently, there is only 2 field offices that are fully closed, both in CA, San Francisco & San Jose and 3 other field support offices: https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/uscis-office-closings you can check the website daily to see if other offices are added. Several other sites may be cancelling/rescheduling appts. to limit the number of people coming into the field offices at one time; but they are still processing cases. Unless you get a cancellation notice or re-schedule notice for your appt. before the day of your appt. you should still plan on going to your appt. Just make sure to check the above office closures the day before and the day of your appt. to make sure that the office isn't closed and if its not, then go to your appt. If it is closed, then you should have received something in the mail and/or online about your appt. being cancelled/rescheduled. If you haven't then I would be submitting an inquiry or calling them to find out why.

Count me in for applying in March! I know I'm crazy applying during the pandemic, but my in-laws are paying for the process as a birthday present and I didn't want to get used to seeing that money in the bank 😆 I'm expecting some big delays, but I don't mind. I just got my 10 year GC so I'm not in a huge rush.

Hello!

Gonna be a March filer as I am finishing the application under 3 year rule. 

Quick question, I tried to find it online but no success so far. 

Part 10 Question 8 - How many times has your current spouse been married? 

Neither my husband nor I were married before, so we answered "No" when asked if we had been married previously in the online application. However, when I downloaded N400 form in the end of the online application, it was automatically filled out as "1" in Part 10 Q3 (How many times have you been married) and "0" in Part 10 Q8 (How many times has your current spouse been married). I was told that Part 10 Q8 should be "1" in out case, but there is no way for me to change it in the actual form as the online question was worded a little differently. 

 

Your advice will be appreciated!

Here we go...this might turn out to be the longest part of the immigration journey but we have at least set foot on the path.

My USCIS page was updated to say they received the application. Happy that their system is still working after paying the fee, but doubt I'll see an update for a while!

I'm sure during the interview you'll be asked to clear it up if it's a problem. It did the exact same thing with mine too and we've both never been married before. I wouldn't stress it!

Yeah, we answered 1 for both (since we have only ever been married to eachother); however, when I downloaded the form after the app was submitte, it was 1 for my husband (the LPR) and it had a 0 in the spouse field question. Can't change anything on it now but I was freaking out for a bit because the system had changed it so IDK. Just have to deal with it if it comes up later.

Looks like it happens to everybody who applies online, it just wouldn't transfer onto the pdf form. However, somebody suggested that Part 10 Q3 means how many times you've been married, including your current marriage, and Part 10 Q8 means if your spouse has been married before, not including your current marriage. In this case, the answers in the form would make sense. 

Since it seems that there is no way to change it anyway now, I'll submit it like this and will hope for the best like everybody else :)

I showed up for my BIO appointment today after driving 1.5 hours to Denver Application Support center since I haven’t  received  any cancellation notice but they are already closed on Mar 16. They put the note on the door saying they will reschedule. So please make sure you all call them before go.

So my appt. for Bio is today at 12noon. I went to USCIS at 8:30am to make sure that they are closed.. so yes! They are closed! I didnt want to waste my time preparing with everything & comeback home for nothing so since they are 10 mins away from me, I just checked it earlier. I will wait for bio rescheduling appt. hopefully in April.
