update... after sending an email to USCIS regarding my biometrics appointment not being rescheduled, it was and I went in on Dec 16, 2020.  I have since had my interview on the 12th of Feb, I answered the first 6 questions correctly.  The officer corrected a few things on my application and then approved me, I waited in the waiting room for around 30 minutes for them to print my Oath Ceremony notice and its today at 2pm!  12 days after my interview.  Its nice that part is so quick.  after today, my journey is pretty much done.

Congrats!! What did they asked during the interview? Also do I need to bring all the documents that have been submitted for N400 application? I filed  online.

I got my appointment date is gonna be 17of march. and now my estimate time is February 2022 :D I assume its not correct estimate . do you guys know when they might schedule oath after interview?

Check on the VJ timelines (best on desktop and not on phone) to see people who have passed the interview in your office and see if their oath ceremony was the same day. Otherwise, google "[location] court oath ceremonies" and see if they have dates listed online. You'll probably get scheduled to the next oath ceremony, but it'll give you an idea.

If my interview goes fine I might get my oath ceremony a week later, March 19th. 🤞

Just saw a March 2021 filing group.  It really brings home that it has been almost a year of waiting.  Hopefully those of us still waiting will hear something before too long.

Talk about prophetic.  I just got an email to say an interview has been scheduled.  No date as yet.  Hopefully by tomorrow it will be uploaded.  Super excited to see the light at the end of the tunnel!!

Congratulations. When did you file your N400? I am from San Diego so maybe I could get interview notice within a week?

Thank you.  I filed March 31st 2020.  I try to keep the timeline details up to date so others can see the timing.  Not sure how San Diego and San Bernardino are relative to each other.  Hopefully you will hear something soon.

Hi everyone! I am glad to see everyone's cases start to move along. I am scheduled for an interview at the end of this month. I am trying to prepare for my test. I am going over my application and also  studying the 2008 100 Civics Question... (Although, I think I saw another note/ announcement for those that are applying after March 1, 2021, they will change it back to the 2008 Civics Questions or something like that)

For those who are done and passed the interview, did the officer ask you certain definitions of the words from the n400 application form? I did not receive a booklet, some people who shared their experiences in youtube (recent ones that got affected with Covid) say that some were asked about the vocabulary list,  I heard that sometimes they ask vocabulary  words from the application...not that I am worrying about it, I was just wondering... Also because, I didn't receive a booklet, only a notice of action that my application was received...

Thanks in advance for the input!

Hi, I am from SD area as well. I saw they posted the interview notice on my documents tab on Feb 9 but I got the actual letter about 3 days later... But I applied March 1. So maybe they will get to yours in a week. Although I had to call them before that because my GC expires, I think they had look at my application...but we never know, maybe they are in the process of going through the applicants for March now. Hopefully you get your notice soon.:)

My interview has finally been scheduled for April 5 in San Jose, CA but on March 19 we are moving to Maryland. My husband is in the military and he will be stationed there. We have everything arranged already and there is no way for us to stay here and wait for the interview. Should I come back to CA for my interview or try to reschedule? I'm not even sure when we will have  a new address in Maryland so I can't really notify USCIS about address change.

Will have my interview later this month, but I can say yes, you need to know section 12 vocabulary. And as far as I know, they almost always ask them. So be prepared.

The PDF of the interview letter has appeared on the website.  April 7th.

Does anyone know how the California 10 day quarantine for out of state travel affect things?  I shall have to travel in late March but will be back on the last weekend of March so will be just out of quarantine before the interview.  They don't mention anything about out of state travel, just out of USA travel in the letter.
