Hello everyone! An update- we had our AOS interview this morning. We arrived about 15 minutes before our appointment time, went through security and was called in shortly. We took an oath and afterwards, the officer asked my husband a few questions from the i-485 form. He then asked us a few questions about how we met and when we met each other's families. We then gave documents with both our names on it (lease, bank statements, utility bills, health insurance), a letter from my employer + pay stubs, last tax return, photos from the last few months and wedding contracts (we had a small legal ceremony when he moved and are planning our wedding now). He was happy with the documents, said he didn't have any doubts about our application/ relationship and that he will approve us on the spot. He took my husband's passport and after 15 minutes, returned it to us with a stamp in it. He said he stamped it so he could start working right away (our ead hasn't been approved yet). He said the green card will be coming in the mail shortly. All in all, a really pleasant experience!

Congrats to you!!!!

Thank you so much for the information. I'm from California. That actually makes feel a bit better. I just have a bad feeling that they may have lost my paperwork. I kept calling and asking for the update. Just hope for the best here.

My noa date is April7 and I am in the same boat as you. I'm in South Florida. It's very frustrating being one of the few petitions where nothing seems to be happening. Not even biometrics!

So finally received some good news today with the arrival of my biometrics appointment letter - 10/22 at the Cincinnati, OH office. I am wondering if anyone can give me some advice - for the proof of identity I have my passport and driver's license both of which still hold my maiden name (have not yet gotten around to wanting to spend the money to change it on my passport after I only recently renewed it for a small fortune lol) - and can't change my name on my driver's license if it's not changed on my passport 🙄. Will it be sufficient to bring along my marriage certificate along with my passport to show my name change? Did anyone have any issues with this? TIA! (I posted this in April filers but thought it might be good to post here too!)

So excited you guys have finally received good news with biometrics and I hope to get mine soon too!

May I ask, did your status change online in the USCIS case status checker, or did you receive the letter out of the blue?

Nope, it didn't change at all on status. Appointment just came in only. I wonder if they are really busy busy.
