Not sure about Krystal's dress, makes her look very old.

The neck is too high. I'm not saying make her cleavage visible but it looks like it's strangling her. Also the print makes it look a little like she's wearing a gothic sofa.

I thought it might have a touch of the Laura Ashley c 1975 about it?

That is a little before my time so I googled. I see what you mean. I like some of the empire waist dresses though, super cute.

I take it not a style that has of late come back. The fabric just seemed more suitable for reupholstering a sofa.

The sundresses are absolutely wearable now. Pretty sure my SIL was wearing one last summer when I saw her; she said it was vintage but didn't mention the designer. I think it might have been her mum's originally.

 

The longer sleeve ones are similar to some of the prairie dresses that had a moment a couple of years ago. Not my thing at all. I prefer cleaner lines and less busy prints, but the sundresses... I may need to buy one now!
