Hello everyone!
Me and my wife got married outside the US and we have our I-130 being processed now.

We got our NOA1 on February 15th 2019 at the Nebraska Center and our case got transferred to the Vermont Center just now, almost one year after.

It says it is supposed to speed up the process, but I wanted to ask if someone knows if this transfer usually can delay or not the process and also if we could expect to get it soon, we're traveling to see each other the most we can, but this wait is really hard for us. :(

Thank you for your help!

In 2016, our I-130 was initially sent to Nebraska.  Later, it was transferred to Texas......It did not delay our case...

Thank you for your reply! That's good, we are just worried because they're taking way longer these last years.

Thanks again!

Hi

same thing happened to us

we got noa1 on February 11 2019 to Nebraska and now it went to Vermont as well,

i have seen about 28 approvals since the 28th of January so that’s a good start hopefully we can hear something soon.

do you have any prior divorces? I keep hearing most cases gets sent to the Vermont for more in depth screening but I am not 💯 is its true or not.

according to visa journey Vermont is processing May 29th 2020.

Hello! Thank you for replying!

Yes, hopefully! It is actually good to hear that there are more people waiting on the same situation, it is a little stressful not knowing anything for so long.

In our case we never got married before so it shouldn't be something like that. I imagine it is probably because of the amount of work they had in the Nebraska Center.

We are hoping to hear about it soon too.

Thank you for also sharing your case with us!

It has been more than a year now waiting for the NOA2, does anybody know why we don't see notifications coming out this week too?

Are there more people waiting this long?

Hey I’m following another forum for Nebraska transfers to Vermont on Jan 22, 2020. My NOA1 is 2/15/2019 and they have not approved mine yet either. I know in another forum they have approved one girl 2/11/2019 and another person his 2/11/2019 and he hasn’t heard anything and then someone today is June 2019 and he got approved today. I’m getting so annoyed with this process.

That's how we feel too. Just today we say 3 cases from June getting approved before all those of Feb and March... I thought it should be by date, why does that happen?

This wait is stressful :(
