We couldn't know our case ID by email.

Should I ask to know case ID on phone call?

How does NVC sent welcome letter by email or letter ?

I have received all my correspondence by email from the NVC. If they don't have an email address on file they might send it to you regular mail. You can call once a week to see if your case has been assigned a case number and ID number. Hope this helps :)

USCIS takes upto 4 weeks to send it to NVC (mentioned in the approval letter)

NVC has upto 4 weeks to get that into system from the date they get it from USCIS (as per the NVC site: )

Hence when you call they say to please wait upto 8 weeks from I-130 approval to get WL.

Likely cause you are talking about the email from USCIS. You need to wait for the email from NVC

Yes. Call and if they have it in their system but waiting to batch out the email, you can get those ahead of time if the rep feels nice. Either way be nice to them they are humans.

Both. Email is faster cause it is instant. We got both but the physical letter arrived 4 weeks later -_-

Hi, Sea Leslie

Thank you for your advice to me.I've email NVC that email address wrote on the letter from USCIS.

then received automatic reply from NVC. That email wrote an another URL to tell a form to ask NVC.

So I could ask my questions by the form.

Thank you for your advice saladboye;

Almost takes necessary 8weeks to receive welcome letter from NVC since mentioned USCIS's approval letter. ah okay.

We have to wait 8weeks around to get WL from NVC. I see that.

And NVC sent WL both letter and email.

Hello MarlinCobon.

Finally we've received W/L from NVC in Mid-Jan.

We were keep waiting for it around 2months and some days,

We felt more long month than actual waiting time.

But we are going to proceed next step with their instructions.

I can imagine your situation and Good luck to you too,

Thank you.

Yes, We did after one month late from I-130 approved. cuz we were not received W/L from NVC yet.that' why we did call and email them. First. to call them some times but we couldn't catch them  on phone call, that' why I sent NVC  email while waiting W/L. but no reply here. result we received an email of the reply from NVC after received W/L. I think that NVC is honest and kind us cuz they gave us reply to my email even though we've received W/L.

Hoping it above would be helpful for you and someone and Thank You.
