I suppose the only odd thing is that there have not been more. Always odd to see coverage involving places you know, spots you have walked over many many times.

I heard about it about an hour ago. I was very worried, because a close friend of ours works on the South Bank side of London Bridge. He's fine and was nowhere near the scene at the time. The people rushing towards the attacker when they thought he was wearing a suicide vest to hold him at bay are truly heroic.

You always wonder what you would do in those sort of case, and there is no way of knowing, you sort of hope it would be the right thing.

Currently sounds like they are not connected.

 

Stabbings themselves are pretty common, now not every one gets reported but a normal feature in the UK media.

 

This one is slightly different, 2 dead and the London Bridge connection, fake bomb vest.
