That's the same timeframe for Dallas office. ☹️ Can't get into the job industry I want until I'm an USC.

Unfortunately, the timeframe in which one acquires his or her USC is contingent on where one lives.  )-:   Maybe for some N-400 applicants the saying "geography is destiny" is true.

This seems to be true.

I called USCIS yesterday because I didn't see any update on my case after biometrics was done 48 days ago.

The rep told me his system showed that they put in a request for an interview scheduling with the center closest to me on January 6th, 2020....I was happy, surprised but angry all at the same time! This meant that the West Palm Beach center was dragging its foot on this and the delay was NOT with the main USCIS dept.

I've seen 2 members who are being processed thru West Palm Beach center from October and November get interviews scheduled for February 18th, 2020.....it sucks and hurts that I'm left out and just made to wait 😥

I'm not surprised about your plight given that West Palm has a poor track record.  Meanwhile, Tampa, On the other side of the state,  does well and north of you, Jacksonville does an excellent job at processing N-400 applications.  Maybe, the person you spoke with at USCIS will send another reminder to West Palm. Keep those fingers crossed.

That's not bad considering Newark, NJ, is slow in processing N-400 applications.  Currently Newark has a processing time range of 10 - 15.5 months.

Well actually the  estimated time on the website is 6 months for this office, so I think they are working faster because of the elections.

Is the 6 month estimate on the local field office website?  The website that has all of the USCIS offices shows 10 to 15.5 months processing time for Newark. Based on what you stated it sounds as if there might be two systems in place.  Pleas let me know...

I see 6 months when I check the status of the case in my USCIS Account.

Thanks for the clarification...Now I understand the difference.  By the way, I agree with you that during an election season they tend to ramp up the processing times.

Miami has improved for 52% of the cases which are completed in the first 8 months but brutal for those remaining applicants that might take as long as 31 months.  However, I believe that at least 80% are completed within 12 months.   I can't imagine waiting 31 months...

Mine is 9 month Estimated case time we will see I got :"Case is beeing Actively Reviwed By USCIS"

Giovanna, that's great news for because  you are in the first 60% who will be processed in the first 8 to 9 month period.  It's not bad considering that some will be processed at around 2.5 years.

Been following the increase in fees announcement in the Federal Register and the announcement of  the end of the feedback period I believe that the new fees will be implemented sometime next month.

Giovanna, I dislike the USCIS field office processing times.  Just horrible...
