We finally got our visa! Just wondering if there's any other legal documents that I should bring than my passport with the k1 visa and k1 visa packet when I fly to the US?

When is the best time to apply for SSN? Can i apply after a week of landing to the US?

Yes.. even earlier than that.  Print off your I94 and take that and your passport

Also fill-out and print SS-5 prior to going to the SSA office. https://www.ssa.gov/forms/

Consider reviewing the VJ K1 Flowchart, https://www.visajourney.com/content/k1flow/ . The timeline is not accurate, but the scheme of events is still useful.

Good luck on your immigration journey.
