Is there an option for a dependent on a B visa? It’s been years since I applied for one but I don’t remember that. 

Generally they will interview family members together. Obviously they are listed as spouses on each other’s form and as traveling together.

I don’t think any embassies are currently issuing tourist visas. Watch the embassy website of their country to see when they restart routine visa issuance.

I don't have an answer on that specific either, sorry. My understanding is they are booked separately but if you show up together as a group, they can interview them together. But it may be consulate specific, too.

1/2/18: EAD + AP approved (no website update), 1/5/18: EAD + AP mailed, 1/8/18: EAD + AP approval notice hardcopies received, 1/10/18: EAD + AP received

9/5/18: Interview scheduled notice, 10/17/18: Interview

10/24/18: Green card produced notice, 10/25/18: Formal approval, 10/31/18: Green card received

US Pakistan embassy but they don’t say on website how long is the delay. They are processing applications, priority is life and death cases.  It just say significant delays due to covid on embassy website.

Well is it allowing them to make an appointment yet? The only practical thing you can do is make an appointment if it allows you to and hope for the best.

The official website shows around 7 days for a tourist visa: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/wait-times.html

But without meeting the criteria to get an emergency appointment, there won't be an interview until regular visa processing resumes.
