Hi all,

Dose Kiev embassy request taxes transcript or pay stub?

I don't work full last year so my tax return was very low. But i now have a new job and I'll be making more than the 125%.

Are you hoping to submit only the pay stubs and not the tax transcripts?

Here's the regional subforum for Ukraine: https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/98-russia-ukraine-and-belarus/

You're probably going to find more pertinent information there.

Most embassy's have gone to the requirement of a tax transcript. Some who require will hold your visa up till you submit one. I have seen one couple get denied because they didn't have a TT. So it's better to be safe and get one as they are easy to print from the IRS website.

Get the IRS tax transcript.  CEAC has refused tax returns and required IRS tax transcripts.

if you send docs electronically maybe but on official website and in instructions to affidavit of support is very clear that your proof of income is either tax transcript or tax return with pay stubs. sometimes to get transcripts online is difficult, like we never could do it

There's the instructions, and then there is real life.  I personally know of at least 3 cases where the complete tax returns with W-2s were rejected and IRS tax transcripts were required.

If you read my post over again you will NOT find that I said you couldn't submit the 1040 so yes you can submit either BUT remember the embassy has the gold and therefor if they say TT then if you want the visa provide the TT. Since the TT is so easy to get then why not submit the TT and avoid any possibility of "will they or won't they". Just my opinion.

TT is not that easy to get if you change address. and believe me if it was that easy to get online we would have gotten it. For some reason we are not able to do it, just doesn't work

CEAC doesn't approve or deny any portion of this process. TT is the embassy's request. But the premise of your argument is true embassy's have issued 221(g) for IRS TT and would not except 1040.

The reason why most embassy's are moving toward only excepting the TT is that the 1040 with today's software can be forged whereby the TT cannot.

There are those rare cases, your's seems to be one, but there is always going to be "some" who have trouble. It shouldn't be the hard fast rule not to try. Just saying.
