Ki Visa approved but want to come back to Canada for the time the work authorization isn't approved. Is it an option ?

Again, I didn’t mean to insinuate anything.  It was genuine curiosity.  Like I mentioned the firm I worked at never encouraged it, but they also didn’t seem too concerned about it the times it was mentioned (as in any potential consequences were not presented).  I was mostly wondering bc I think there are tax treaties between Canada and the US to avoid double taxation.  
 

Anyway, my personal belief is that you shouldn’t because (as you said) laws are laws.  If working is important, there are other visa avenues for people to pursue.
