It can take 2 weeks or more.   They know the day it was received

It took approximately three months for me, but I think the I-129F from helped speed up our process.

Based on the OP's timeline, they just filed this month. So I think they are asking how long it takes to process the I-130, not how long it takes to get the paper notice of approval.

 

Petitions are generally processed in a first come, first served design. So the sooner you file, the sooner you would expect adjudication of the petition.

That said, it's not a single line. I always use the analogy of it's like a massive grocery store with hundreds of checkout lanes. Somebody is always going faster than you. Somebody is always going slower.

You are at Texas service center according to your timeline, so expect around 8-11 months before I130 approval, unless the processing times increase. Keep in mind, an I130 approval is NOT a visa approval. You have a long journey ahead of you still. Keep patience, it’s needed for this process

You waited a long time For just 3 months ? Some people in Nebraska wait close to one year before NOA2  do you are much lucky . Call NVC for your case number? When did you received your NO2?

Perhaps it was the I-129F petition that sped it up, not sure. I called the NVC and they are working on petitions received 9/23/19. They received my petition 10/17/19.
