Wow that's unreal. My timeframe was 2 to 3 months to get my appt after NVC approval to get my appointment in Juarez I thought it would be almost the same timeframe even during covid since there priority date is late October

Yes CDJ really began to slow down for spousals in 2018/2019.  We were initially 5 months to an appointment but moved it up 3 months because we watched for cancellations.

Thank you for sharing. So far everything has been norm time frames 

But now to see how long it'll be for appointment to consulate. I think Its starting to speed up. I will share any updates for all.

I applied and got case number on October 31st and center was Potomac center . Got approval letter August 16th.

Congratulations on the approval. It’s take days to week for NVC to receive your case. Some people get it the next day and others have to wait for weeks.

Anyone know the time frames right now on approval of NVC to appointment in Juarez? 

My wife and I are still awaiting our approval (our PD was Oct 2nd, 2019) but didn't even know if the consulate was taking interviews at this time. We were under the impression they were still shutdown during covid?

The way I hear it is they are understaffed. I called NVC and that's exactly what they say at the beginning of the message is that NVC is understaffed. I know the consulate in Mexico is still operating not sure how slowly due to covid. You must check whatever consulate you are going to have your interview at. Those are my suggestions.

Just got my NOA2, after 294 days of waiting.

 

I'm in shock; it felt like it was never going to happen.

 

Now what is next?  Are they sending physical paperwork to myself (the petitioner in the US) or to my wife in the Philippines?

Our I-130 which was outside normal processing time 3 weeks back has not moved yet. Yesterday, we checked with Live agent and she tells that it now in Normal Processing time as the times are updated on the uscis page :( It has jumped back from Jan 2020 to June 2019 again.

 

We have already raised an online inquiry on 28 July and they told to reply in 45 days.

 

What to do now?

Hi everyone, 

 

New member here.. I have also applied for my wife and it has been almost 11 months. My PD is Oct 7, 2019. Last update on my case July 6. Service center Texas, transferred from California but there is no record for that. Anyway, my concern is that feel like I'm the last one left still waiting for approval from early October. 

 

Last time when I submit outside processing time, they said you will see an update in 60 days but didn't see anything yet. Any idea, suggestions are most welcome.
